Rivercrest Manor is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. It is part of the Toms River-Berkeley Park Metropolitan Statistical Area. The CDP is bordered to the north by the Toms River, to the east by the Barnegat Bay, to the south by Manchester Township, and to the west by Lakewood Township. The area was originally inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Native American tribe. The first European settlers arrived in the area in the early 18th century. The community was originally known as "Riverside", but the name was changed to "Rivercrest Manor" in 1955.
